The new head of diplomatic relations has added that this meeting would be hosted by Morocco, according to the press agency Reuters, which cites a statement from the ministry.
Currently serving in his sixth term as prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu has expressed the hope of forging ties with the Saoudite Arab Republic, which shares Israel's concerns about Iran. However, Riyad opposes normalization in the absence of advancements in the desire to strengthen the Palestinian State.
According to Eli Cohen, the heads of the foreign ministries of the participating nations at the March summit must meet the following week in Abu Dhabi.
During the Néguev Summit in March 2022, Israel hosted the foreign ministers of the United States, Bahrain, Morocco, Egypt, and the Emir of the United Arab Emirates.
